While this last election was definitely interesting, did you know the most important changes to the dental profession happen in the Indiana General Assembly? Mark your calendar, clear your schedule, and register now for IDA Dental Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

Dental Day is an annual event to:

  • introduce IDA members to the Statehouse,
  • educate state lawmakers on the issues that are important to dentistry, and
  • help dentists become advocates for your profession.

The IDA’s 2017 legislative package includes pursuit of an increase in funding for the Dental Lifeline Network, support of an IDA-backed effort to fund dentist and hygienist loan forgiveness programs, as well as defending against any hostile policies. Between Medicaid contracts, provider audits, dental therapist legislation, EPA regulations, and more, there are many issues that can have a big impact on dentistry, and it is up to you to make your voice heard.

Dental Day will begin at 8am at the ISTA building at 150 W. Market St. in Indianapolis. We will then move to the Statehouse where we will meet various officials and discuss issues. This is an all-day event and lunch will be provided.

Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2017
Time: 8:00 am registration
Location: ISTA (150 West Market Street, Indianapolis)
Agenda: To be emailed to participants

There is NO CHARGE to attend Dental Day, but we ask that you pre-register below:
