How can the IDA’s organizational structure best serve the future needs of members? That’s the question that the House of Delegates will deal with at its June 8-10 annual meeting in French Lick, Indiana.

“Last year the House directed President Asdell to appoint two task forces – one to study redistricting of the IDA; another to evaluate and make recommendations regarding our council and committee structure,” explained Executive Director Doug Bush. “Both group spent the past year studying the issues and preparing recommendations that will be presented to the House next month.”

The governance changes are two of 13 resolutions to be debated by the House. There are also proposals to make officers voting members of the Board of Trustees, and to make changes to the IDA’s fiscal year. The House will also consider the Board’s recommended 2017-18 Budget.

Delegates and alternates will receive their House of Delegates materials next week. Questions can directed to trustees, or a member of the IDA staff.
