Charitable Dental Clinic
May 12-13, 2017
Indiana State Fairgrounds
IndianaMOM (Mission of Mercy) is a two-day, large-scale, charitable dental event scheduled for Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13, 2017. The goal is to provide free, high quality dental care to 2,000 uninsured and underinsured children and adults who cannot afford earnestly needed treatment. Patients will be offered free wellness, medical screenings, necessary dental care and of course, oral health education.
Check out this recap of the 2015 IndianaMOM Event:
“It’s truly a blessing because a lot of people can’t afford to get this done. So it’s a blessing from God I think.”

We Need Volunteers!
As you can imagine, this is a huge undertaking with an estimated budget of $250,000 and, more importantly, a need for 300 dentists as well as hundreds of hygienists, dental assistants, lab techs, and x-ray techs. We are asking for your help! In order to reach our goal of 2,000 patients, we have three critical needs:
1. We need volunteers.
We have shifts and positions available on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. You can serve for a half day, a full day, or even both days. Bring your entire staff! It’s easy to register as a volunteer. Simply visit IndianaMOM.org/volunteer.
2. We need follow up care providers.
After the event, some patients will require additional care. Some patients will be covered by Medicaid, some patients will have private dental insurance but cannot afford the copays and noncovered services, and many patients will have no dental insurance at all. Please consider volunteering as a follow up care dentist on a one-time basis, or “adopting” a patient in need and providing a dental home. Call 800-562-5646.
3. We need financial contributions.
Become a Friend of MOM with your tax deductible donation of only $1,000. Your name and your practice’s name will be published at the IndianaMOM website, on our social media pages, and in other MOM publicity. Visit IndianaMOM.org/donate to make a fast and easy donation with your credit card or to get additional information.
We heard countless stories from our 2015 IndianaMOM volunteers about how fulfilling and satisfying the event was. Take advantage of this awe-inspiring opportunity, enlist your staff, and volunteer today:
