Keeping IDA Members and the Public Informed of Issues Affecting Dentistry and Oral Health
The Communications Committee focuses on the changing strategies for communicating with members, with emphasis on the IDA website and Journal IDA, as well as communicating important dental-related issues to the public. Activities of the committee include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing strategies for communicating with IDA members, component dental societies, state specialty organizations and the general public
- Supervising and providing guidelines for IDA print and electronic communications media
- Promoting good dental health and the dental profession to the general public
