Making Plans to meet in-person, safely

It is our number one priority to protect the health and safety of all attendees and IDA staff. Therefore, the IDA team will be working with the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown and local health officials to ensure extra sanitary measures are in place throughout the event, as well as adjusting seating plans for sessions to comply with social distancing regulations. The facility will be increasing deep cleaning and sanitizing in all spaces, with a morning, mid-day and evening service. There will be hand sanitizing stations at the entrance of each meeting room, with proper floor signage to prevent attendees from crowding these areas. Attendees will notice more visual reminders throughout the conference space regarding personal hygiene and social distancing best practices. The Midwest Dental Assembly will feature a touchless check-in experience to ensure that no contact is made between staff and attendees when possible. Audience capacities and room layouts may be different and limitations will exist on general sessions, CE breakout rooms and possibly exhibition admissions based on room sizes could be a county requirement. We do expect breakout sessions to sell out quickly. All attendees should follow government guidelines and wear a face mask. We kindly ask that if you have recently been or are currently symptomatic to please follow the government guidelines and stay home. Thank you for your patience as we continue to monitor all state and county regulations. More information will be made available as our event draws near. If you previously registered and can no longer attend in-person due to illness or do not feel comfortable attending the Midwest Dental Assembly, please contact meetings@indental.org to cancel your registration. You may contact us at anytime if you have any additional questions or concerns. Sincerely, MDA Planning Committee
