Fort Wayne dentist Dr. Steven P. Ellinwood has begun his term as the 2019-2020 president of the IDA. Dr. Ellinwood formally assumed his duties as the association’s president on Saturday, June 15, at the Midwest Dental Assembly conference and will serve as president until June 2020.

Dr. Ellinwood has been a member of the IDA since 1985 and has served in multiple leadership roles, including vice president, chair of the membership committee, member of the Council on Communications and assistant editor of the association’s quarterly journal. Dr. Ellinwood has also been an Indiana delegate for the American Dental Association and a Floor Leader for the ADA.
