2020 Midwest Dental Assembly: Register Now!

HomeNews2019

March 26 Status Update: The Indiana Dental Association’s Midwest Dental Assembly 2020 will take place as planned June 10-13, 2020 as planned.

As the Indiana Dental Association is finalizing plans for Midwest Dental Assembly 2020, we want to assure our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, House of Delegate leadership and other partners that the safety of meeting participants is our highest priority. At this time, there are no restrictions in place to prevent meetings or travel during the month of June. No public health authority is advising the cancellation of meetings scheduled for the dates of MDA 2020.

Given its importance as a significant source of continuing education needed for license renewal for many dentists and hygienists, as well as our House of Delegates Meetings, at this time the Midwest Dental Assembly 2020 will continue as planned June 10-13, 2020 at the French Lick Resort.

IDA is taking precautions to ensure the health and safety of all event participants. We are closely following the latest guidance offered by public health authorities and communicating closely with the French Lick Resort on their recommended cleaning and sanitation protocols in place and that they are adhering to all state and local guidance.

Over the next 11 weeks, we will continuously review all guidance and do what is in the best interest of our dental community. Any changes to the status of our meeting will be communicated immediately to all registered meeting attendees and participants, along with refund instructions.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring rapid responses to inquiries and concerns related to the Midwest Dental Assembly 2020. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please contact us at Meetings@INDental.org.

Registration for the 2020 Midwest Dental Assembly is now open! Taking place in beautiful French Lick June 10-13, 2020, the Midwest Dental Assembly will energize your practice with innovative thinking, create new memories and fuel new experiences for you, your entire team, and families. Don’t Forget the Mouthguard

HomeNews2019

Mouthguards have been shown to reduce the risk of sport-related dental injuries, but studies have found that a majority of young American athletes are not wearing guards during sports. The ADA’s consumer website, MouthHealthy.org, provides information on the benefits of athletic mouthguards and the dangers of dental trauma. The site also lists athletic mouthguards that have earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance. As fall season sports wind down and winter sports begin, don’t miss this chance to educate yourself on the importance of protecting the oral health of athletes in your family.

Indiana Dentists Donating Excess Candy

Halloween candy is delicious and fun, but too much of a good thing can ruin your teeth. Throughout early November, many Indiana dentists are accepting donations of excess Halloween candy that they distribute to military troops, shelters, nursing homes or charity organizations.
