COVID-19 Response: CDC Guidance for Dental Settings (May 2020)
On May 19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released updated Interim Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for Dental Settings During the COVID-19 Response. This interim CDC guidance provides details for dental health care personnel as they begin to resume non-emergency care for patients. Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Describe patient and personnel screening for COVID-19.
- Explain dental facility and equipment considerations as dental practices resume non-emergency care.
- Review respiratory protection measures for dental personnel.
