IDA members are also invited to apply to serve on the ADA Delegation for the House of Delegates 2026 in Indianapolis and TBD in 2027:
The ADA delegation is composed of delegates and alternate delegates as determined by the ADA’s Constitution and Bylaws. Indiana Student Dental Society members are not eligible for nomination due to ADA Bylaws restricting eligibility to active, life, and retired members. Each eligible component society can nominate two fully privileged members, and campaign statements must be submitted 30 days before the annual meeting. The President, President-elect, Vice President, and Immediate Past President are delegates by virtue of their office, with additional members elected by the House of Delegates. Elected members serve two-year terms, and the delegation has the power to alter its personnel by a simple majority vote if necessary.
