COVID-19 PPE and Me: Issues, Questions, Concerns, and Workarounds

This webinar will highlight the results of recent ADA survey data (August 2020) of dentists who responded to questions about the impact of enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) use during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ergonomic challenges, users’ questions, concerns as well as practice and personal challenges will be discussed. Workarounds or “hacks” to improve comfort and reduce injury risks will also be discussed.

Learning objectives: by the end of this webinar, participants will:

• Understand the issues related to enhanced personal protective equipment (PPE) use during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Recognize the ergonomics challenges and current concerns related to the use of this PPE.
• Discuss potential workarounds or hacks to improve comfort.
